Southwest has amped up its onboard offerings. Beyond its popular free live streaming of TV broadcasts, free snacks and flight tracker, the airline has delighted guests with surprise performances by artists like Matt Nathanson, O.A.R., Echosmith, Bronze Radio Return and Imagine Dragons.

 

 

The airline’s efforts also illustrate a shift in advertising to social media and peer sharing.
